Two extremely strong Neodym-magnets hold the weight of the overlying Hifi-device. Thus the NeoFlex Absorber are an ideal instrument to optimize your High End device. Energy is dissipated by the device perfectly through the absorber and destroyed in the absorber.

Safety & GPSR Compliance Information

1. General Safety Information (GPSR‑compliant)

• The product is used for mechanical decoupling and vibration damping of HiFi devices.
• NeoFlex absorbers contain neodymium magnets that are fully encapsulated and magnetically shielded inside the product.
• The magnetic field is significantly reduced externally and is not accessible during normal use.
• The products can therefore be safely used under HiFi devices without causing direct magnetic exposure.
• For stationary indoor use only.
• The device must stand stable and centered on the absorbers.
• The surface must be level, load‑bearing, and non‑slip.
• Keep children and pets away (risk of tipping).
• Heavy HiFi devices may fall when lifted → risk of crushing; installation may require two people.
• Do not use on wet, flexible, or unstable surfaces.
• Do not use chemical cleaning agents.

2. General Warnings

• Caution: Point loads may damage sensitive furniture surfaces.
• Caution: Improper positioning may lead to device instability.
• Caution: Not suitable for devices whose housings are not designed for point‑load support.
• Caution: Not to be used as load‑bearing supports for other objects.
• Caution: Outer damping rings may transfer color — check before use.

2.1. Notes for Medical Devices

• The internal magnetic shielding ensures that the external magnetic field is very low.
• As a precaution: persons with pacemakers, ICDs, or other implanted medical devices should maintain a minimum distance of 10–15 cm.
• The products must not be opened, as this would remove the internal shielding.

2.2. Notes for Electronic Devices

• Due to magnetic shielding, there is no risk to hard drives, credit cards, magnetic stripe cards, or watches when the products are used as intended under HiFi devices.
• NeoFlex absorbers should not be placed directly on magnetically sensitive components if these are openly accessible (e.g., open measuring instruments, loose storage media).

2.3. Mechanical Safety

• The magnets are not externally accessible, therefore there is no risk of pinching due to magnetic attraction between absorbers.
• The products must not be opened or disassembled.
• If visible damage occurs (e.g., housing cracks), the products must not be used further.

2.4. Child Safety

Even though the magnets are shielded internally, the following applies:

• The products are not toys.
• They must be kept out of reach of children.
• Opening the product could expose the magnets.

2.5. Environmental Influences

• The internal shielding protects the magnets, but the following applies:
• Do not store or use above 80°C (magnetic strength may permanently decrease).
• Protect from strong impacts or shocks (magnets may be damaged internally).
• Do not use in humid environments.

3. Notes for Use in HiFi Systems

• The magnetic function is part of the internal damping technology of the NeoFlex absorbers.
• The products are optimized for use under HiFi devices and can be used without risk to electronics or data carriers.
• Not suitable for devices with open, magnetically sensitive components that would be placed directly on the absorbers.

4. Operating Instructions

1. Preparation

• Switch off the device and disconnect it from the power supply.
• Clean the surface.
• Check the number of absorbers required (typically 3 or 4).

2. Positioning

1. Place the absorbers at the designated points.
2. Carefully lower the device.
3. Check whether all absorbers are evenly loaded.
4. Perform fine alignment.

3. Operation

• Operate the device as usual.
• If audible changes occur, check the positioning.

4. Maintenance

• Regularly inspect for dirt or damage.
• Clean only with a dry cloth.
• Do not use oils or lubricants.

5. Care and Usage Instructions

• Store absorbers in a dry environment.
• Protect from heat sources.
• Do not use aggressive cleaning agents.
• Replace in case of material fatigue or damage.
